Court-admissible format
Yes — when performed with proper legal authorization. Under Florida law (Florida Statute 934.03), accessing stored communications requires the device owner’s consent, a court order, or a formal subpoena. Jeff Computers never performs extractions without verified legal authorization. We will confirm exactly what is required during your free consultation.
Locked and damaged devices are common in forensic work. Depending on the device model, operating system, and condition, a partial or complete extraction may still be possible. Jeff Computers will assess the device and provide a realistic evaluation. Please note that a small diagnostic fee may apply for locked or physically damaged devices, which will be communicated clearly before any work begins. No surprise charges — ever.
Most extractions are completed within 24 to 72 hours from the time Jeff Computers receives the device and the necessary legal authorization. Complex cases or locked devices may require additional time. A realistic timeline will be provided at the start of every engagement — no surprises.
Yes. Jeff Computers works with Apple iPhone and iPad across all current models, as well as Android devices from all major manufacturers — Samsung, Google Pixel, OnePlus, LG, and more. Where legally authorized, cloud backups including iCloud, Google Drive, and Microsoft OneDrive may also be accessed as part of the extraction.
The report includes extracted data in court-admissible format, timestamped records, metadata analysis, hash verification (proving data was not altered after extraction), full chain of custody documentation, and a methodology summary — ready to submit to your attorney, present in court, or use in formal discovery.
Only a company-owned or company-issued device can be forensically extracted without the employee’s explicit written consent. Extracting data from an employee’s personal phone requires either written consent or a court order. Jeff Computers always confirms the legal basis for extraction before proceeding — this protects both your business and the integrity of the evidence in court.
Completely. Everything discussed during your consultation — and throughout the engagement — is handled with strict confidentiality. Jeff Computers does not share case details, client identities, or findings with any third party outside of the authorized parties in your case.

Every extraction performed by Jeff Computers follows strict legal and ethical standards. Here is how we ensure your evidence is protected, admissible, and handled lawfully.
All extractions require verified legal authorization — device owner consent, a court order, subpoena, or employer authorization for company-owned devices. Jeff Computers never performs unauthorized access to any device under any circumstances. Florida Statute 934.03 governs all stored communications access.
Jeff Computers does not collect, store, or transmit payment card data (PCI DSS) or protected health information (HIPAA) through this website or through the forensic intake process. All case data and client communications are handled with strict confidentiality and are never disclosed to unauthorized parties.
Every extraction follows a documented chain of custody — who handled the device, when, and how. Hash verification confirms data integrity at every stage. This is what makes the difference between evidence courts accept and evidence courts reject. Your case is protected from the first contact.
Forensic extraction of an employee’s device is only legally permissible without consent when the device is company-owned or company-issued. Extraction of a personal device always requires explicit written consent or a court order. Jeff Computers verifies device ownership status before any work begins.
Jeff Computers operates in full compliance with Florida Statute 934.03 (stored communications), Florida’s two-party consent recording laws, and all applicable federal statutes including the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA). We do not assist with any extraction that violates state or federal privacy law.
Jeff Computers works cooperatively with law enforcement agencies and private investigators operating under valid legal authority. All law enforcement engagements require verification of applicable warrants, court orders, or other controlling legal authority before any extraction is performed.
